The origins of Hyderabad can be traced back to the Chalukya dynasty from 624 CE to 1075 CE, followed by the Kakatiya dynasty, which ruled the Deccan region of India between the 12th and 14th centuries. Golconda Fort, a historic landmark, was initially built during their reign.
Birla Mandir
The first one was built in 1939 in Delhi collectively by Jugal Kishore Birla and his brothers and their father. Later temples were built by and managed by different branches of the family. For both of the temples in Varanasi, the Birlas joined other donors to support the cost.
Golkonda Fort
It was originally known as Mankal, and built on a hilltop in the year 1143. It was originally a mud fort under the reign of Rajah of Warangal. Later it was fortified between 14th and 17th centuries by the Bahmani Sultans and then the ruling Qutub Shahi dynasty.
